Same classes as last year, looking at location options that would keep track up and would have a practice night during the week. Sundays still the choice for days but not for sure. Also blinky mode on both EDM's and Sprint cars. Also talked about a new beginer class, something durable and around $200.00. Maybe a box stock 1/10 slider class with no wings or the mini sedans like they run at Hobbytown so we could have special races at both locations. I'm sure Chris will have more info when he returns and can firm up location.

I think the mini touring cars would be a hit just like there are at hobbytown. is 1/12 pan cars out of the question, who would be interested? also who would be interested in running 1/10 2wd buggy/truck? if people are interested ill run in that class with a 22 or maybe even a 22t, depending on what everyone else is running. id be in for some mini touring action!

We talked a little about a pan car class last year but could not get anyone to commit to one. I am not willing to make the drive down from Watertown and not have anyone to race with. If we can get enough to race on a regular basis, I'm in!!!

Here's my two cents worth. I am all for trying a different site than last year - especially if it's warm, big enough to have a decent sized track, and the surface is flat. I think the Ramkota would be a great site and I don't think the extra money it would cost would be that much of a problem - especially if it would bring in more racers. If somebody comes up with a better site, I'm all for that too! I am disappointed that I couldn't make the meeting. I have talked to others that wanted to attend as well, but I think the short notice kept some people from being able to make plans to be there. I understand the turnout was very low (4 -5 people?). Maybe another meeting should be considered with more advance notice of the time and place. I think there are several people that would appreciate the opportunity to give their input into what happens this winter racing season.
