Well, Mr. Shorr suggested a thread to discuss pan car, so here ya go!!
Like I have said, I have a current set up with a 13.5 and a single cell lipo. I am flexible enough to do any thing from 10.5 to 17.5 or 21.5 with a 2 cell lipo. COT or old style body don't matter to me. I prefer the 13.5 or 17.5 as 10.5 may be a bit much for me. Now with that said, I can't be sure I will be able to make all the races but if things work out I should be able to get down for more than half. Being from Watertown, I also don't want to haul down and not have enough people to race. Work is going good right now and we are working Saturdays, if that doesn't change that will kill my trip down.
Your call guys.

Sounds good to me. That has been the norm at some other tracks I have raced at but some are going to 6 minutes also.

im not sure what we are paying but i know we pay by the hour so we may need to rent the building an extra hour a day. if we do that then either we need more cars or would have to charge more per car.

I like the current race time lengths we ran last year. I honestly don't want to be getting home any later then we already will be.

I agree. I also like our current format.

I also like the current format!
As for the purpose of this thread... I think we need a good, solid commitment from at least four or five pan car drivers to make them a go.

Back to the question at hand. Who would race an oval pan car class?

If there is enough cars to run a decent size class I would be willing to buy one to join them. As of now I don't want to spend the money to race a 3-4 car class occasionally.
