The meeting was held tonight and here are the highlights. 1. We are not planning on racing every week. We will try to schedule 10-12 races starting in May. 2. Classes- Oval- Sprint cars, EDMs, and Late Models Offroad- Trucks, 1/8 scale buggies, and monster trucks. 3. We will have a work weekend on the first weekend of May. 4. We will try to keep rates at the 5 per car rate that we ran at the end of the year last year. 5. There will be a 3 per person insurance cost per day or a membership can be bought.
If I missed anything anyone who was there please feel free to jump in.

I had a chance to stop at the track today. The oval racing surface looks pretty darn good. Minor dragging and packing will make it race ready in no time. The outer wall is leaning in a little in some places but we could certainly race on the track with very little or no work on the wall. We may want to re-work the wall at some future date depending on how things go. The off-road track looks pretty much the same as it looked at the end of the season. Again, with very little work it would be race ready. One thing that probably should be done before the work day is to get the packer and tractor motors running. If I remember right the tractor battery (or cables) needed some TLC and the motor on the packer is badly in reed of some fresh oil. I'm willing to help with that if somebody wants to meet me out there some evening. I'm looking forward to the dirt season! I'll see you all there May 1st for the work day. If we get enough people, and an early enough start, we might be able to pull off some test-n-tune AFTER ALL THE WORK IS DONE!!

I can lend a hand any night other than Weds.
Kids and I will probably head out sometime during the week (26th -30th) to mow weed eat and pick up the area. Anything else that we possibly could do while we are out there? We WON'T be able to make it on the 1st, we have a wedding to attend that day.
Is any one opposed to spraying the corners on the off road track flourescent orange, green, or yellow. I don't mind providing the paint, just thought it would help the corners stand out.
