Not many changes to mention for this season for RCX. Sounds like most classes will remain with the same rules as last year. There is no increase in fees either.
The EDMs will follow the same rules as the RCMTS tour. Those rules were posted under the RCMTS section of this board. The changes of note for those are:
1) New body rules: The body rules of the past are now outlawed across the country with everyone adopting the DODC spec bodies. See the templates that are listed in the rules. An old body can be made legal, you'll have to do a little tracing, a little cutting and add a couple braces. The nose piece is also a little smaller in the new body package as well.
2) ESCs must be ROAR approved. We voted on this last year as well with overwhelming support to mandate that. (The only exception is if someone runs a 17.5 motor in the A-mod class, then the ESC is open)
3) We had an added rule in the past that did not allow direct drive cars. This has been lifted. However, direct drives are not mandatory.
That's pretty much all that I can recall. Jeff and Brad are going to check into some new corner marking material for the oval racing. We're hoping to find something similar to what Elk Point uses.

Now the question of the day. Is direct drive going to be faster? Hummm ;D
