I want to give a congratulation to Audie for winning the RCMTS title in both divisions. His consistent performances throughout the year are exactly what championships are made of. As a group of racers, we really have a lot to be proud of. Watching some of our races this year, we’ve certainly come a long way as drivers and a group of racers. There were many heats and mains where marshalling wasn’t needed. That’s a testament to the talent and respect we’ve all built. For those who raced this year with RCMTS, whether it was once or all 10 events, I want to say thank you. Getting into this type or racing takes a serious commitment with equipment, and making the races takes time from everyone’s already busy lives. Your support of the series is appreciated. Also to those others who made every race, Chad, Jared and Audie, a special thank you to you. Another special thank you to those who traveled to the out-of-town specials. With gas prices and the weather conditions on one Marshall trip, your participation was appreciated. (Some also learned Marshall, MN is not near Watertown, SD ) Finally, thank you to the local club for this season, and those who set up and tore down each week. I was very critical of this year’s location, but by the end enjoyed the days at the Ramkota. I look forward to discussions for next year’s season.
