Audie and I went to the track today and we both agree that it was better than expected but there are some problem areas that HAVE to be delt with. off-road (1) the washed out berm on turns 3 and 4. (2) the sediment on the bottom of the straight away after the big double i would like to remove and place in a different location. (3) the second jump of the double double at the back of the track needs a face lift. He and I both agreed that we would like to see some new jumps after the big double maybe even make it a triple double or something like that. the oval just needs to be disked and dragged and it will be ready for action. I was hoping that we could schedule a work day in a couple of weeks or something if everyone is agreeable.

I was thinking tonight about when to schedule a work day but think we need to wait a couple weeks and hope for no rain so they can dry out a little more so we don't ruin anything trying to fix those spots;D Chad did an awesome job fixing the shack door at the end of last year! Thank you Chad, you're the man.

Naw I think we will make it bigger and turn it into a triple jump or double-single however you hit it ;D, Were racing offroad here not onroad. Scott you could always buy an 1/8 scale Besides taking it out is more work then we have volunteer help to get it done.

I suppose, since I'm not going to help much with the work on the track this year, I shouldn't complain....but, that jump (I'm talking about the double in the far Southeast corner) caused me more grief last year than any of the other jumps - and I don't think I was the only one. Maybe if the first bump of that double was lowered a little and leveled out more (side-to-side) it wouldn't "barrell roll" the buggies so bad. Just my opinion.

I would say keep the big jump in the front straight but maybe fill it in to make a it table top? This way you have the option to air off of it or run over it.
Pending the date for working out there, I could probably make it....

Yes I did get the Ofna NEXX 8. I can help with what I can with one hand since the other is in a cast until at least the 10th of May. Also I'm in need of a 1/8 scale ESC if any one has one for sale.

when we going to get some race dates omaha is racing allready. Race dates will be decided on and posted as soon as the track dries out enough to do a work day or two so we can race. Alot depends on how much help we have to get everything done. Scott, you and the boys are more then welcome to come help get the track ready.

We can use all the help we can get. It shouldn't be left to the same few every week like last year.
